Do you take appliances with refrigerant?
Yes. Fridges, freezers, and air conditioners are handled through proper channels, since refrigerant has to be recovered by a certified technician before a unit can be scrapped. That is federal law, and it is why curbside pickup usually refuses them.

Those need licensed remediation before or alongside the clearing, and you would be told that during the walk-through rather than partway through the work.

Can you take the old fridge or freezer out there?

Will you take an appliance that still works?
A working appliance is taken along with everything else, and where it is in genuinely usable condition it gets routed to donation instead of scrap.
Can you get it out of the basement?
Carry-out from basements and upper floors is part of the job, which is generally the reason people call rather than handling it themselves.
Hot tub removal
Does it have to be drained first?
Draining it first is worth doing before the crew arrives, since a full tub holds hundreds of gallons and draining takes time rather than effort.
What about the concrete pad or the deck?
The tub, cover, steps, and surround are removed as standard. Breaking up a concrete pad underneath is separate work and gets quoted separately.
Furniture removal
Do you take just one piece, like a single mattress?
Yes. Single-item pickups are the smallest and fastest job on the list, usually scheduled within the same week.
Will you take furniture that's broken or stained?
Yes, it still gets hauled, it just won't be routed to donation. Only pieces in genuinely usable condition go that route.
Can you disassemble a bed frame or sectional to get it out?
Basic disassembly, pulling apart a sectional or removing bed frame rails, is part of the job when it's what clears a doorway or stairwell.
Shed removal
Do you clear out what's inside the shed too?
Yes, that's part of the job. Everything inside gets sorted and hauled along with the shed structure itself.
Does the concrete pad or foundation come up too?
Only if you ask for it. Standard shed removal is the structure and its contents; a concrete pad is quoted separately because it's dense material, not general junk.
How long does a typical shed take?
Most residential sheds come down in a few hours. A larger shed packed with stored items runs longer, closer to a garage cleanout timeline.
Construction debris removal
Is tile and old countertop priced the same as drywall?
No. Dense material like tile, concrete, and stone countertops is priced by weight since it's heavy for its size. Drywall, trim, and general debris are priced by truck volume.
Can you pick up mid-remodel, before the job is finished?
Yes. Phased pickups, a demo-day haul and a separate finish-out haul, are common and usually easier to schedule than one large trip at the end.
Do you handle a full dumpster-sized demolition?
Large-scale demolition or a full roof tear-off is usually better served by a dumpster rental. For a remodel's ordinary debris, a truck haul is the right tool, and you'd be told honestly if your job needs the other option instead.
Same-day junk removal
How late in the day can I still get picked up today?
Depends entirely on the route that day, but mid-morning requests have the best odds. Afternoon requests for a small item are still worth asking.
Can a whole garage be done same-day?
Sometimes, but it's not the typical case. Larger jobs usually need a quote first, which generally pushes scheduling to the next available slot rather than the same day.
